Humanist é o projeto expansivo e ambicioso orquestrado pelo guitarrista e produtor Rob Marshall - guitarrista do Exit Calm e co-escritor dos célebres álbuns "Gargoyle" e "Somebody's Knocking" de Mark Lanegan.
Este álbum de estréia apresenta um elenco de estrelas de colaboradores, incluindo Mark Lanegan (Queens Of The Stone Age), Mark Gardener (Ride), Carl Hancock Rux (David Holmes, Portishead), John Robb (The Membranes), Joel Cadbury (UNKLE), Ilse Maria, Ron Sexsmith e Jim Jones (The Jim Jones Revue, Thee Hypnotics).
